New PC Show Programs
Just received copies of show programs for the following shows
At the beginning of Personal Computing, there became a need for folks(hobbyists) to gather and share experiences, to see what manufacturers had to offer, and to learn about this exciting and growing field.
These early computer gatherings in Atlantic City, NJ looked more like Science Fiction Conventions than Technical Trade Shows, but they marked the beginning of a new industry.
Personal Computing '76, August 28 and 29, 1976, Atlantic City, N.J. 7 x 8 ˝ inch, 8-page program includes, “Welcome Message”, List of Seminars, List of Exhibitors, and door prizes. Also included is a punched admission ticket for the show. Good condition.
COMPUTERMANIA, August 25-27, 1977, Boston, NH, with Wayne Green, publisher of KILOBAUD. 8 ˝ X 11 inch, 8-page description of the show including map, photos, and exhibitors.
PC ’77, August 27-28, 1977, Atlantic City, N.J. 8 ˝ X 11, double-sided News Release with show description, Admission application and flyer. 8 ˝ X 11 inch, 4-page (Personal Computing College) brochure with detailed description of the convention, and (PC ’77 News). 8 ˝ X 13 inch double-sided sheet of venders. 8 ˝ X 13 inch double-sided sheet of Seminars. Some entries circled in pencil, but otherwise in good condition.
Personal Computing ’78, August 24-27, 1978, Philadelphia, PA. 8 X 10 3/4 inch, 32-page program with (Welcome Message), advertisements, List of Seminars, List of Exhibitors, and Schedule. Good condition.
Personal Computing ’79, October 5-7, 1979, Philadelphia, PA. 8 X 10 3/4 inch, 16-page program with advertisements, List of Seminars, List of Exhibitors, and Schedule. Good condition.
Personal Computing ’80, August 21-24, 1980, Philadelphia, PA. 8x10 3/4, 16-page program with, advertisements, List of Seminars, List of Exhibitors, and Schedule. Good condition.
